Two VMX VJ will then be left available to the participants. They will have the opportunity to go at this workshop with their laptops and favorite software to test the controller and configure their environment.

Presenters: Ma and HpNoTik are two Videographer / VJ specialized in the production, distribution and mix video under the banner QuadByte Video (www.video-qb.com). They will present the VMX VJ Codanova they use for each of their creations.

Anto did write this patch making the Codanova VMX VJ compatible with VVVV, a real time graphical programming tool. The advantage of VVVV on others softwares is the MIDI configuration, that allows to be more precise with the jogs for example, making it ideal for camera movement or a 360° rotation.

A new packaging build to resist, protects the VMX VJ.

The VMX VJ is ligther too ! Only 3kg (25% decrease !). Dimensions are now : 40.5 x 28 x 3 cm (5cm height including  knobs). The faders have been updated too : they are more robust and support 50.000 cycles in their life :)
We removed the ON/OFF power switch too !




The VMX VJ is still auto powered by USB and plug and play, compatible with PC, Mac and linux...

Présentation de la VMX VJ, un workshop d’une heure sur des logiciels piloter par la VMX VJ comme, Modul8, FLxER. Ce workshop sera animé par LeCollagiste VJ et VJ Bombaklak ainsi que Gianluca et Paki pour l'équipe FLxER, la VMX VJ, Azop Corp sur la VMX Studio.
C’est la cinquième édition du LPM ou environ 290 VJ’s et crew seront au rendez-vous au Macello IV des anciens abatoirs de testaccio Rome.



LPM 2008 propose de nouveau la formule des quatre jours, au cours desquels l'interaction entre plateau les spectateurs et les performances, donneront vie à un événement au caractère unique, avec un programme toujours riche de workshop, showcase, de projets, logiciels et produit d'avant garde.

La vidéo live est naturellement le fil conducteur de ces quatres journés différement caracterisées par des diverses thématiques et des réalités des participants.

LPM 2008 cherche à conserver l'esprit rencontre qui la caractérise depuis sa première édition, se voulant un point de rencontre, de dialogue, et de confrontation entre vj, artistes visuel, vidéo performeur live et passionnés de secteur. Tous les fonds récoltés au LPM sont donc destinés au soutien de la recherche autour du live visuel et au développement des technologies actuelles et innovantes.

Les similitudes idéologiques entre le LPM et le réseau Avit, qui est actif dans la valorisation et la promotion de la culture vj à travers d'événement au niveau mondial, on fait entrer le LPM au sein du réseau Avit l'année dernière. Après les premiers festivals anglais, Avit a promu la création d'un réseau internationaux, afin de stabiliser les collaborations entre l'Allemagne, la France et le LPM en Italie. Un partenariat qui à travers rendu possible par l'arrière-plan culturel commun et craie une forte intimité entre utilisateurs.

LPM n’est pas un festival, c’est une occasion pour se recontrer et donner un assagio? De ce qui est en train de se faire ou encore mieux, ce qui pourrais se faire. C’est pour ces raisons et pour donner la possibilité de présenter les nombreuses performances proposées, que la limite de durée de chaque intervention sera de 30 minute

In order to enlarge audience and visibility of VJing throughout various media and cultural landscapes, Vision'r has entered a partnership with Arte channel in an exchange of active visual content.

Moreover, in partnership with Codanova and Arte, VMX VJ controler will be granted to the performer among the 3 who shows the most interesting / artistic usage of the provided content, in a VJing approach, to give them a new hybrid life during the live mix.
